AddressBeach, Monk Nash, Llantwit Major CF71 7QQ
DescriptionMonk Nash Beach is a beach that you have to walk to, If you drive down the lane past the Plough and Harrow pub there is a field owned by a farmer where you can park. It has a honesty box on the gate, please pay there.
To get to the beach you have to walk down an uneven path by a stream over some stiles past an old mill, and finally on to the beach, then pick your way over the stones. Once on the beach if you go right there is a huge expanse of sand,if the tide is not in. If you go towards the left instead there are lots of lovely rocks to sit on and soak up the sun.
FeaturesBe very careful and watch the tide as you can get cut off although if you walk to the very end of this beach there is a way out.
This beach has some spectacular rock formations and lovely views to enjoy. but it is best to stay away from the cliff bottom along here as they are very unstable.
Dogs welcome all year round.
